They called time out first too. Why would they not try to score? It was a big play. Going up 3 was important. Makes you wonder if the game has passed Payton by

I dunno. Maybe he thought that play would work, but it looked like garbage even before the ball was snapped, just based on the defensive alignment. I've just seen a lot of games in the NFL were a 2 point conversion was seemingly half-assed, especially if it has a direct affect on the spread.
