I think Miami wins straight up. They're just better at not turning the ball over, they have the best player on the court, who played horribly today, and it's just hard to win 4 in a row.

It looks like oddsmakers are preempting the expected onslaught of under bettors, game 7's are notorious for being played in molasses. I couldn't take the Under, not any meat left on the bone. Hell, I may be tempted to take the Over at that price.

Jimmy looks like he could heat up in game 7 after finishing strong and Tatum is unlikely to have such a poor half like that next game. Those would be my reasons to be a little scared of it.

But then again, refs are probably gonna swallow their whistles barring assault and battery... another reason why game 7's rarely get over the totals.

Boston has to play fast to win. I don't think they can win in a half court battle against the heat. They don't have as many set plays as miami. I think whoever controls the pace of the game will win. This is a Butler kind of game I think, slower paced, methodical. Boston is gonna keep chucking up 3s so if they get hot there, it could be a wrap.

I'm just seeing game sides and totals, no line on 1H.
You have to assume a 101.5 - 102 1H total, if so I'll spank that under.

More to your point, free throws in the last minute of the game could sink the game under total, yes.

But the flipside of that is that players generally feel more comfortable in the early portions of the game, it's when the 2nd half of a game 7 starts that the gravity of the situation strikes and players feel the weight of expectations, not to mention physical fatigue.

                              Valid points.

Anyway, those are my knee jerk first reactions.
I have two days to flip flop, I do flip flopping well.

They're taking the points tho, it's not like people are loading up on the moneyline.

We just witnessed BOS eek one out by a fraction of a second, it's not crazy to pocket 8 points in a game 7.

Taking the points a must at this spot. Not much separating these two teams. It will take a miracle to cover 8.5 points.
