Maddux was one of the greatest control pitcher of all time.
    His HR/BB ratio was incomprehensible.

And Maddux was already inside the heads of most batters when they're in the ondeck circle.
He knows the opposing lineup will not take his first pitch, Maddux knows this, so he nibbles on pitch one.
    If you're 0-1 on Maddux, you're toasted.
    Done

Pedro was the best I've seen in my lifetime, than Unit, than Maddux,
    But that's just me.

I have never seen any supposed Sports Integrity body in other jurisdictions catch and act on game fixing in real time.

After years of watching the corrupted, useless & unfair UK/Euro sports integrity system it's very very encouraging to see how well US Integrity has performed so far.

Plus they are transparent and actually announce decisions like this. (instead of hiding them to protect the industry at players expense like the useless EGBA commission in Europe)

Seems like they figured out what James Krause and a few of the UFC fighters were doing pretty quickly, though not sure if it would count as real time.

I'm actually surprised given the amount of attack surface how little -- at least that we know about -- has happened in terms of fixing and match manipulation so far

As someone with a subscription to US Integrity I’ve been impressed by their alerts. They sent over some fixed eSports games prior to it starting and called the score for each game to a tee. I should have fired on it …

Ivey ever heard of US Integrity. Is this a company that reviews all different types of wagering and sends alerts if they see something suspicious? How much is the subscription?

Legal sportsbooks contact them about any suspicious activity and then US Integrity emails out all their subscribers who are normally us sportsbooks relaying the info without naming which book took the suspicious activity. Then they send a form and I fill it out if we took action, was it more/less than expected, etc. no idea the cost my company pays for it. They have mandatory alerts you need to reply to and if you dont could lose your license in the state the suspicious activity happened in

Yeah, like what we've seen so far from them. Very wide reaching, which is necessary.

Dumb bettors though, using the Reds stadium not exactly the move of a brilliant criminal mastermind...lol.

Speed is key to being effective I think.

In the UK it's quite normal to have all bets held in limbo for a year or more whilst someone decides what to do. Which is almost always refund or pay out players bets anyway.

The lack of transparency got so bad that the UKGC even mandated that IBAS should report back to affected player every 3 months on progress. But somehow that just never happened.

USA is showing UK how it should be done in most areas so far I think.
