    in the 70's and 80's the games were very high scoring. then the pistons, knicks, bulls and jazz changed the game to coaching and defense. bulls held the sonics to 75 points twice in the finals and held utah under 60 in one of the finals games. in the old days they were scoring like that without 3 point shots. now there are unguarded 3 pointers with most teams taking over 30 a game.
