I have watched zero ND games but most USC games. USC has a way of letting teams hang around but ultimately pulling out the win. They probably win but I am not laying 4.5.

Books have odds of Michigan making the playoff at the same odds as USC. Knowing those odds are built on the fact that if Michigan loses they don’t play in the big 10 championship this tells me it’s a coinflip that USC could lose one more game. If I had to pick I would USC is more apt to lose this game than pac 12 championship if they did lose one.

I bet ND +4.5 because I just think they're going to be too physical for USC to just boatrace. ND may not win the game but I see this being a back and forth game with the outcome being 4 or less points so I'm on Notre Dame plus the points.
