    *FYI* MLB Start Times Today

    Cle @ NYY 4 pm
    Phil @ SD 8 pm
    (EST)

Without question, October is always a sports fan and sports bettors wet dream.
    Christmas in October for all.
    Name your poison.

The NHL regular season kicked off last week, tonight, the NBA begins their regular season.
NCAA and the NFL football seasons are in mid stream already.

And the best sport of them all, that being MLB has a game five in a best of five playoff series, and a game one in another.

Since NCAA kickoff at noon on Saturday I've been watching nothing but sports.
And it 2pm on a Tuesday and there's more.

Any more of this the Mrs. is going to divorce me for non support and Tessie Dog is going to bite me mistaking me for a stranger that's going to rob her bones.

Best of luck in any sport/game you guys wager on.

I have an open series bet on Cleveland to beat NYY, I'm not big on hedging but I could hedge tonight's game and bail out, at no expense to me.
    My Cleveland ticket is 100/175
I can get -160 with Yankees and Cortez.

I could lay 160/100 if that wins if NYY I collect 100 which offsets the series wager.
If Cleveland wins, I lose the 160 from tonight, but collect 175.

Worse case scenario, I break even.
Best case scenario, I win 15 dollars.

My philosophy has always been, if you are going to bet just to break even, the why bother?
Having just stated all that psycho babble, Cleveland has a very good chance tonight.

Regarding the best of seven Phil/SD series, game one and the series betting lines for all intents and purposes are pretty much a man to man even up pick.

And I searched for value on all sides of the coin, could not find any value either way,
Since I had originally Philly getting this far before getting of that train when they faced the Dodgers (SD happened along the way to LA) I'm still going to get off the Philadelphia train as planned.

Both teams have an equal chance in this best of seven games, SD has a four game home advantage to Phillies three games, like I said, I see no value. and I can't fade Darvish in game one, and I can't fade Wheeler either.

Total there is seven runs, most shops are heavily juicing the under.
I can see a 4-3 final, like I just said, why gamble to break even.
If you like laying -115 or more under seven, that may be the way to go tonight.
