Before draft because of bear's play style I said he'd be trubisky 2.0 but he's shown more promise than I thought he would already with bears I think he keeps progressing and bears really start giving some teams headaches next yr

Justin Fields is a running threat. Reminds me of Michael Vick a bit.

Meatheads that don't know how to watch a game think otherwise. No way Wilson or Lance should have gone ahead of him. And I'd take him over Lawrence too, although I think he can be good also.
No disrespect... but your comments definitely sound like a Chicago Homer? Fields has legs... and that's about it. His decision making is Ryan Leaf material. He's taken some big hits already this year... it's going to wear on him. He's already losing confidence... he seems like a player that mopes at things rather quickly. Again, if he thought NFL/Chicago was going to be an OHIO STATE cake walk... he's sorely mistaken.

I am a Chicago Homer. And I'm also right about Justin Fields, and you're wrong. Yeah, running QB's take big hits, goes with the territory. Always a risk. Everything else you say is just flat out wrong. I doubt he thought the NFL would be a cakewalk. Time will tell. Once he gets acclimated, getting Chase Claypool should help. Next season will be the real test. No excuses. We should know by the end of next season.

The bears are awful. It's not hard to put up stats when you're team is going no where.

Contact us in 3 years if Fields is in the NFC championship, otherwise, nothing matters.

Always find it so funny when fans get so excited about their players in reg season games.

No QB will make the conference championship without a good team and Fields doesn't have much to work with. He's the only reason they came close to beating Miami.

They are looking at the big picture. They have 8 picks in the draft and will be $120 mil under the cap.

Yeah, I mean if you have a nice haul of draft picks and a lot of money/cap to spend, to go along with a talented cheap young QB, you can overhaul a team quite fast during an offseason. Not an easy feat to pull off, but not impossible either. We'll see if the new Bears regime can do it. Bears may suddenly be a destination team for free agents.

The Bears and Fields are a dumpster Fire this year so far. Considering the Bears have their pick and Carolina's 1st round pick. This could and should be Fields last year IN CHI TOWN assuming Bears get high enough picks to draft a new Franchise QB.

Give Justin a break. The dude gets no pass protection and Chicago has no running game. What can you do? Receivers kinda suck also and probably can't get open.

Wishbone offense the only way fields isn't offensive. 0-17 is a good path to alienate fans to leave the lakefront for the

late Arlington Park, the McCasky's Plan.

Yes it is but not for the reason that you thought.

Your Chicago sports takes usually do not age well.

The Bears organization seems like a complete mess from top to bottom(coach resigned for child porn, 100k of equipment stolen, traded #9 overall pick to Philly who took Jalen Carter and he looks like potentially the best player in the draft, offense still looks awful even after adding Claypool and DJ Moore, head coach is one of the worst in the NFL surprised he still has a job given the lack of wins and Field's development).

I'm sure I missed numerous other things but the entire organization needs an overhaul.

How could it be any worse? Lose to Denver this weekend and heads may start to roll.

How do you think us Redskin fans feel?!! Try to having arguably the worst owner in the history of the NFL for the last 25+ years or so who turned a once proud franchise (5 SB appearances, 3 SB wins, two championships before the SB era, and perennial playoff team with a winning record year in and year out) into a complete laughingstock of the league! one boneheaded blunder after another! terrible and horrendous draft picks, constant interfering and meddling with team operations, vastly overpaying for free agents and players who were way past their prime, one bad decision after another, etc! A whole damn laundry list of failures, transgressions, and incompetent management! Good Riddance Dan Snyder! But I digress, this a "Justin Fields sucks thread" and yes, he sure does! Just another running back trying to play the QB position!

TV $$$ trumps fans in pro sports today.

I was a SAN DIEGO Chargers fan and they have one of the worst owners in all of sports as well, so i feel the pain of Chicago fans in that respect. Moving the franchise to LA no doubt saved me a lot of heartache and agony the rest of my life.

At least you folks have some championships...I think i will die without any in major sports anyhow.
