From what I heard Bridgewater struggled with the new 'Tagovailoa-friendly' offensive system all through camp and preseason. He was out-performed by Thompson the rookie and if his contract hadn't been guaranteed he might have been cut. He was poor in relief of Tagovailoa in Week 3. His grasp on the #2 QB job ought to be tenuous. I don't think Tagovailoa is a top 24 QB but I don't wish him any ill. If he can't play for any length of time I hope Thompson gets an opportunity. Thompson looked good in preseason and may be a better fit for the Dolphins dumbed-down scheme.

I saw a replay of the game on Friday. Bridgewater outperformed Tagovailoa. I wasn't a fan of either QB before that game. Still not a fan. 2 good teams and an entertaining game.
