    After losing $5k I played $2k on the Under 49.5 Minny/Philly
    I haven't posted here for a while - lost $5k betting on dogs and what's not - don't ask

Anyway I wasn't even feeling ok to post a pick but my reasons to play the under were:
    • The line was too low for a game that seems to go over
    • Next week it's PHI-WAS, and so many times, even in MLB, prime time games are consisted of one team last play was OVER and the other UNDER.
    • So WAS was huge over against DET, they scored the highest total I think on Sunday (or 2nd highest for sure), so PHI must show a low score to bring more confusion for Sunday.

What I'm trying to say is it felt to me as if the result was pre-determined.
    BUT,
Halftime = 31 pts, I felt like it's burned, but B365 showed U48.5 still has chances of 3 to 1 so I felt like this can still go under - just never expected so many interceptions and exactly on the last moment when it's so crucial - not sure what to say .... it can't be fake, it can't be rigged, but if felt like the wrong bet to place is over because so many liked the over.... the public as well.

Anyway had to take it off my chest, I'm still in a huge loss ... can't believe I risked again 2000 to win 13 and again ad 300 to 1 dog won the race in Australia - I really should do the opposite there, seems like you can risk 20 after 20 after 20 and you would probably win big, maybe 5 digits, but I've self excluded for 90 days, it was enough....

Don't know how to treat gambling ... thinking of risking $5k on a "similar" game like today on the one hand, but on the other - not sure ...

You simply have to against the rational and then you can win, but still - it's gambling - who the f knows what would really happen in the end of any game, right?!?!

      No, 2000 to win 1850

I lost 2000 to win 13 on dogs, greyhounds, in Australia .... literally $2000 risked to win $13 (like $8 + $5) a dog called Mystify yesterday in Northam - there was a photo finish and the judge of course always rewards the dog with the highest odds - it was on the exchange for 300 - 350 matched!!

Damn Arie. Eating 2000 to win 13 in horses is one crazy thing, but the with dogs is a whole other level of insanity. Congrats on hitting the under.

Thanks, and you're right - it's a true new level of insanity.

2000 to win 13? damn. obviously you know how that sounds. not going to say anything more.

why not just keep your account funded with a low amount and try to get the "fix" that way?

Mystify's exchange starting price was 180. Appears you matched around 150, so it appears you beat the starting price at least. You can hang your hat on that. You do that consistently enough, you'll come out ahead.

Otters is known to lay a lot of crazy chalk to win pennies.

I know, but it feels like shit!
What if you hit a few more "winners" like this one?

Maybe over/under is the only way of gambling that I'd consider, especially in the NBA... it's best to place a bet only when it makes sense - the dogs/horses thing could be profitable but you simply never know.
