The fellas look to bounce back after a tough opening week. But as the old saying goes "it's a marathon, not a sprint". Here's the Week 2 card for The Bullseye team:
Michael McClymont - Arizona Cardinals +5.5 (-105)
"What an overreaction from Week 1. The Cardinals aren't as bad as they showed against the juggernaut Chiefs and the Raiders shouldn't be getting this much respect for keeping it close against the Chargers."
Esten McLaren - Atlanta Falcons +10.5 (-110)
"The Atlanta Falcons sure aren't the Buffalo Bills but they proved to have a competent offense under QB Marcus Mariota in Week 1. The defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams struggled mightily on the defensive end in the 2022 kickoff game and while they'll have a much easier time scoring this week, the Falcons look up to the task of the backdoor cover needed for the +10.5."
Jon Metler - N.Y. Giants -1 (-126)
"Despite being without two of their edge rushers, Azeez Ojulari and Kayvon Thibodeaux in Week 1, the New York Giants went on the road and defeated the No. 1 seed in the AFC last season. It appears that Saquon Barkley is healthy and explosive once again, which will relieve Daniel Jones of a significant amount of pressure. There are several sportsbooks that have the Giants -2.5, and I like them all the way to -3.5. Due to the contest line sitting at Giants -1, I have no choice but to back the Giants."
Andrew Brennan - Washington Commanders +1 (-101)
"I love what Dan Campbell is doing in Detroit. The Lions have lost seven one-score games since the start of the 2021 season following another gutsy effort in a Week 1 defeat to the Eagles. Meanwhile, the Commanders are fresh off a gritty performance of their own. I feel like an absolute sicko for saying this, but I trust Carson Wentz more than Jared Goff in a battle of guys who could be backup QBs in the not-too-distant future. Go smash the Over on every Antonio Gibson prop, too."
Sean Tomlinson - Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3 (+100)
"The New Orleans Saints' leaky defense is fresh off allowing 416 yards against the Atlanta Falcons. Now that unit faces a Bucs offense with far more talent at the skill positions. A rowdy superdome crowd will surely boost New Orleans, but keeping this one close will still be tough."
It's not too late to join. Make your Week 2 picks here and see if you can beat The Bullseye!
