It was the right play. Purdue was gassed on defense and the quick tempo helped Penn St as Purdue couldn't sub.

I agree but PSU defense hasn't been very stout defending the pass either. I'd take my chances letting a few more seconds tick off, I think when they got that first first down.

Purdue was stupid for not calling timeout in this possession. Coaches are awful with clock management.

I will be betting overs all season. There is no talent on defense anymore. All coaches are using quick tempo offense. If the books keep the totals low the overs will be easy cashes.

I agree. We should see a lot of overs. I think we discount how all the damn penalties extend drives too. You really can't play defense anymore. You blow on a guy, flag, he grabs you, flag, you lower your head because you're diving to make a stop, you get kicked out for targeting. I'm tired of so many damn flags. Let em play. I don't know where CFB and the NFL got that we want to see more scoring by way of teams marching up and down the field via yellow flags? Shit has to stop.
