A fade team the rest of the year at the right price.

They've been done since the All Star break. Been that way all year but not surprising to me as a Giants fan because I predicted they'd be a third place team before the season started and that's what they are.

It's not SF's season.
Mets, Dodgers, Braves, and Cards are all deeper.
Giants even if they got a WC, would be one and done in the post season.
SF's in a tough spot, they have some nice pieces, but still only the sixth or seventh best in a stacked NL

Thrilla,
My conditioning is not like the old days.
I know Illini works out 5-6 times a week. I would have no chance.

Only 3 teams to fight for 1 spot in WS in the NL.
Dodgers, Mets,, Braves.
All others are garbage product.

I didn't know he worked out. I made him favorite based on the fact he moves around a lot. Conditional advantage I thought.

Don't forget the Cardinals they've arguably been the hottest team in the NL and will be a tough out for any of those teams in the playoffs.

They've been done since their coach decided to not come out to the field for the national anthem.

Slickster, we would never fight but we would argue until the sun comes up and at the end of it, you will be baptized and a believer my friend. There is not an ounce of violence in my body, I don't move like that

Winning 107 games last year was flukey but when you look at last year vs this year two things stand out. They had Posey last year and that made a big difference plus last year most of their key guys stayed healthy. This year they've fought the injury bug big time and losing Posey to retirement hurt this team overall imo. That still does not excuse the fact they can't hit nor pitch or play defense but I think a big reason why they won last year is these guys didn't get hurt and had career years which is what it takes to win that many games.

i agree Illini. We would discuss sports betting, pounding the number, the clergy etc. But I just can't see us ever going to blows.
You have been a great mentor to me since probably 2007.
thanks for all you do Illini.

They were only supposed to win like 70 games that year
