    SUP, Mets run this shit
The best pitcher is baseball massacred the phils. The best hitter in baseball gave us the run to win. Sup. Cant wait to beat up on those total queer Dodgers. Mets are by far, the best team in the NL. We didn't have to sign another 5 40 billion dollar contracts like the homo Dodgers. Dodgers, buy everything, and everyone, like the Yanks, every season and win nothing

Not one team, can even touch a hair off a ballsack of our pitching staff. Not enough close. Mets run this town.

I forgot, the best closer in baseball, and that isn't even close. Sound the trumpets, means good night sweetheart. If you hear this you have zero chance

I’m more worried about the Mets offense. 1 run won’t get it done vs LA

mets payroll is higher than the yanks. i am glad they finally spent and got scherzer cause he has been tremendous. you can't say though they are winning with a low payroll.

dodgers are going to be a tough out. Only thing that would help the Mets is if the dodgers start slumping in the nlds and nlcs, otherwise would be difficult for the Mets to score enough to knock them out

I don't think he was ever seriously hurt. He and his agent are planning a mega contract - and if they inform the Mets he can't pitch in May-July, the Mets just have to take it.

Isn’t he signed until 2024 at appx 33 mil per season? Just turned 34 in June.

He has an opt-out clause and can go free agency next season. The way he pitches normal rules do not apply, contracts are like suggestions.

I think this season is showcase for a bidding war in the offseason. Braves, Dodgers, even Yankees have been mentioned. He likes the Mets, but it's not about that anymore - and with all this in the offing, no way is he risking a full season's work.
