I think the big vacation destinations have the media on their payrolls. Vegas, Hawaii, Disney parks, etc. They don't want any bad publicity.

Well there was a major car crash just yesterday that killed 5 people including women and children in LA.
It was a fat black woman driving a Mercedes going over 100mph right through a red light that caused the crash. Her picture was plastered on every news website this morning and now you can't find a picture of her in any news link.

I wouldn't say that.
I stayed 1 full month in Vegas last August and I didn't notice that.
But then, I stayed in Vdara, Aria, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, and Caesars.
I did stay one night at Excalibur on a last minute reservation for one last night and it was a different crowd there for sure.
I did it so I won't have to drive through the night to go to my brother's house in Buena Park.
It was a big mistake because my wife lost $1,700 playing blackjack after sneaking out in the middle of the night when I clearly told her not to gamble that night.Comment -

She snuck out to gamble that night because she was already down $3,300 for the trip and she was chasing.
I gave her 10K on that trip and she lost only 1/2, so it was a successful trip since she didn't lose it all.
In 2018, she lost every freaking day for 3 weeks straight and lost everything including what I gave her daily to cover her losses from my winnings. It has to be some sort of record to lose everyday for 21 days straight.
The saying "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while" does not apply to her.
She got rated so high that we got suites at all CET properties in Vegas and Laughlin in 2019. We shouldn't have went that year as she lost badly again.
It would have been worse because when she ran out of money in the middle of the vacation and I won't give her anymore, she wanted to take out $2,000 from an ATM to play. I can't stop her from doing it, so I only asked her not to do it. For once, she listened and it was a good thing as that same day we went to a supermarket for food shopping and she left her wallet in the bathroom. She realized it only after we got back to the hotel room and when we went back, what little cash she had in her wallet (still a few hundreds) was gone but someone returned the wallet to the customer service after the cash was already stolen.
I was so glad that they didn't take the cc's as they could've bought a small car with it.Comment -

Thats why you need to avoid these areas. They are riddled with poverty, substance abuse, and criminal activities.
Even if you are here on vacation, there is no need to go SIGHT SEEING in these parts of town.Comment
