Walmart has been a cash cow

“ with a sale price of $4.65 billion, the Broncos SHATTERED the record for the price of an NFL team, over doubling the previous record of $2.275B.”

If Denver is worth 4 billion what about those that are much better and have larger following?

So that makes the Lions Franchise worth about 100 bucks.

Sold for 4.65 billion apparently. Forbes estimated in 2021 the Broncos value is 3.75 billion, with profits of... $8.2 million the year before.

Walton is 77. Maybe this is a way to dodge estate taxes by handing a sports franchise down to his heirs instead of cash.

lol definitely rock bottom. I still wonder what the price would be. Ford Family simply doesn't care. How they put a car together.... blows my mind. They probably stole other peoples secrets back in the day. They certainly didn't do it on their own.

He also turned down a 20% ownership stake in the late 90s.

And you thought Herro was dumb for not wearing a rubber?

The Walton family or Walton money has ruined every sports franchise they sunk their hooks into.

Nuggets are owned by Ann Walton (Kroenke)
She's the heiress to the Walton fortune.

I'm a loyal KC Royals fan, when Mr. Kaufman died, the team was bought by Sam and Bud Walton's right hand man, David Glass.
David Glass was Walton's (Walmart) CEO and President, bought the KC Royals with Walmart money, ruined that franchise. Royals were bought with Walton stock and cash.

Bronco's are now doomed by Walmart money.

You can't run a sports business like a big box retail chain.
                              Two different animals.

Walton's are clueless when it comes to all things sports business related.

Thanks, Ann Walton especially, she doesn't know shit, she was just lucky enough to be the first born Walton kid.
That's how she got her money.

He husband (Kroenke) isn't all that either.
