The holy grail of sports betting

Voters in the nation's most populous state will get a chance in November to unleash a massive new industry in California — and provide a jolt to other holdout states.

I have no faith that Cal will allow sports betting. This state is the most highly regulated state in the union. There might be as many as 4 props on the ballot regarding gambling. Way too many variables and opposing players involved that I think it will get tanked. Plus voters are

If California gets it then all states will become legal. It's like the emission standards for vehicles. Once California adopts them they become nationwide standards.

This will be the deathbed of offshore business for US players.

Y'all can keep praying all you want, but offshore will never die. It might get trim of the fat, but the big offshores aren't going anywhere.

The only good thing happening in FL is Desantis fighting Disney on the transgender crap, it’s going to be hard for Disney to use the moral high ground argument regarding gambling when they are supporting teaching 5 year olds about transgender crap

Utah will eventually be the lone holdout. They are by far the furthest from getting any type of gambling legislation.

Utah would actually have to amend their state constitution.

    Not gonna happen.

Oh yes I forgot about Utah. God is fine with marrying 6 underage girls with a 50 year old man but he hates when people make a $5 3 team parlay on NFL Sunday.

    Offshore isn't going anywhere.

It's been 30 years and it still pumps hard.

I live in Texas. I always thought it would be us and Utah last.
