    Will Wade out as LSU men's basketball coach after NCAA Notice of Allegations

    Will Wade is out as LSU men's basketball coach, the school announced Saturday. Wade was terminated for cause, LSU said. Bill Armstrong has also been fired as associate head coach.


    The coaches were fired after a scathing notice of allegations from the NCAA, first reported Tuesday, charged Wade with five Level I violations including allegations of paying players, attempting to pay others for their silence and failing to cooperate with the investigation, among other charges. The allegations accuse LSU football and basketball of a lack of institutional control over a span of eight years, with LSU charged with eight Level I violations between the two sports.
