With the transfer portal being an unlimited resource now, Hoyas could turn it around next season. But, Only if ewing is fired and a coach the caliber of Rick Pitino is hired

Not sure it's the black HC thing. Really think it's more of an Elite player transitioning to HC. Usually doesn't work out.

Look at Larry Bird, Gretzky, Magic Johnson, Chris Mullin, Clyde Drexler. So often, these guys are under-whelming as Head Coaches. And short-lived, too.

It usually ties back them not understanding that:
1) the average player is less talented than THEY were, and/or
2) the average player is less MOTIVATED than they were. And that one really boggles their mind.
