No you did not

I'm not sure about live betting but parlays are not a wise investment.
If you bet three games at different times so if you win G1 you can let it ride on G2.....and so on. You almost always make more money.
Parlays are for the impatient "pie in the sky" punter.

Live betting juice is not wide at all when you synthesize the line among several books and you are fast. If you're impulsive or throwing darts (95% of bettors), it's a disaster.

If you quickly survey 4 or 5 different providers, you'll frequently see such a difference in numbers that makes it impossible that at least 1 isn't good. Just gotta discern the right one.

It depends on the sport. Some sports are beatable and others are very difficult for live betting:

NBA: difficult to beat due to so many peaks and valleys of momentum throughout the game

NFL: Best of all the sports to live bet if you bet the quarters. Breaking it down into each quarter makes it more manageable

Tennis: Hit or miss, spreads tend to be wider on tennis

MLB: great for betting underdogs when they are down a run or two, numbers tend to be inflated

you know the trick in live tennis
always wait for the opponent to finish his or her serve then bet
unless you really see a break happening

if you just take your side on the spot without waiting for opp to hold serve
or just after yours did then you pay often -50/-100 extra.

also if you are taking the side up a break, do not wait for him or her to finish the set
but if you are eyeing the dog, you wait.

Live betting can be one of the most profitable things ever. You're thinking about taking a team -5 pre game. You're going to get that same bet at PK at some point during the game 80% of the time, sometimes you'll even get +5. If you have live betting available and you're not using it, you need to reassess. Do your analysis before the game, then adjust in game while looking at stats, and if you're watching the game, even better. A team is getting open look after open look and missing, chances are they will start falling. If they're having a tough time generating shots, then you stay away.

Made a fortune on live betting offshore by going to NHL games and listening to games on an A.M. radio. I knew which team scored before the book did.
Eventually had limits slashed and banned from every books, but it was worth it because it was "life-changing" money for me.
Very hard to beat now with legalized books which are partnered with leagues.
