Now JJ, you'll been warming up wih your college backetball picks, but come on? And today, you said Purdue can score, yet that total was heading under, easily today. Do you have a lucky charm?
Except for Gonzaga--and when they play again I could change my mind--it's still a turky-shoot with so many teams with 1 or 2 losses.

Gulp! And Purdue hit nearly 50% on threes. Another killer.

We're a full 3 weeks away from a clearer picture to see who's got the goods and who's lost the goods.
Let's look at the possibilities in 3 more weeks, then, your choices will be taken more seriously..
Gonzaga? No one could have guessed--how did he do it--that Timme would start hitting 80% of his shots? Not me, I thought he was out of the running for POY.

AP Top 25 Men's Basketball Poll
First-place votes in parentheses.
Are you kidding me? Einstein couldn't even pick the national champ out of this elite bunch.
And I could be talked into a wager of points, saying you can't either? Anyone?
I will pick 3 teams for 75 pts and you pick 4 teams?
I pick my #1 first and your pick your #1 after mine. Etc.

Purdue goes pretty deep to the bench
will be interesting to see how their rotation changes as they get into tougher big ten action and what they emerge with for a rotation closer to the big dance. Do they forsee Edey going more minutes?

Well, my respect for Prudue is back. That was a tough game to win at Illinois, and they were in charge 80% of the game.
When you hit threes like they did, any team as good as Purdue can beat anybody.
They shot threes like horse manure when they beat Nebraska. And at home, too.
Those threes again, I say, can twist the brains of any elite handicapper. They--have I said this before--are dominating our modern era of college basketball.
They factor in at way too much of a high percentage. Many times and too many times, these college teams are living or dying my the 3-sword.
Like free-throw shooting contests but a lot more at stake.

As someone with numerous parlays wrapped up in Purdue to win the Big10 who's watched all of their games, it's pretty easy to see that they don't have the defense to win a title. Too many small guards who can't defend....they're going to get run by any team with some physicality and wings who can penetrate. The collapses against Rutgers and Wisconsin were putrid.

My best guess would be, the team that gets hot on threes the last 3 or 4 games?
Once a superior team gets hot they normaly stay hot.
So? Baylor for one.

I think Trevion Williams will get many more minutes. He’s a bucket getter down low and you need that in the tournament. I think they’re managing his minutes so he’ll be fresh for March. Only reason I can think that they play him as little as they do

Thank God Painter played him last night down the stretch over the 7'4 Mongoloid. My Hoosiers were fkn sick and tired of losing to Purdue
Boy, what an ever-changing ranking we have of our college basketball in 2022?
I am off of Purdue [yeah, I know ] and must now look at Arizona, who I didn't before.
They won all stats last night except those ever-dangerous threes and rbs, and wow, blacked 8 shots.
Okay, I am now awake and looking.

A turkey shoot today and tomorrow it will still be one.
6-8 teams seem to be the elites? Seem?
I say, forget the others.

Don't tell me Kansas. I made a future bet on Duke 3 weeks ago at 11/1, I believe, but, I did my usual bad habit of being in a hurry and hit Kansas with the same odds.
A lucky hit or unlucky one if Duke gets there?
