Just remembered why I don't stay here or play here. I feel like I went back in time and not in a good way. The staff can get fukked too. Just awful.

Last time I stayed there was 2001. Was with my cousin. We watched Luis Gonzalez bloop a world series walk off single to center. Then we drank a 6 pack, put on our tuxedos, he was a nervous wreck. I talked him off the ledge, walked him to the classico chapel and he got married. Just him, myself, the bride and her soking fine cousin.
Afterwards cousin wanted to hang out. We did, she made her intentions known and somehow I Rivera'd it and choked a sure thing away that night. Still bothers me to this day. I don't flinch and that night I flinched. Was just young I guess.
Anyways, he's still married, living in Atlanta with two amazing kiddos and a gorgeous wife.
Special memory for me

About 10 years ago I checked into a comped suite at Caesars and a dude was in my room.
He was an employee messing around near the fridge, said he was cleaning up, and immediately left. When I checked out the front desk wanted to charge me $100 for mini-bar chargers that I didn't make. It took me a while to figure out that the guy in my room was alcoholic employee raiding the mini bar.
The wallpaper was peeling off the wall too. Not a good look for what's supposed to be a premium casino.

That mall is an absolute maze. I wandered in there hammered shortly after I moved to Vegas and it took me like 2 hours to find my way out... not a bad mall though.

Caesars very dated. They are redoing the front entrance which will improve but it’s way too dark in there and very little natural lighting. An old school vegas casino type. Mall solid and the coliseum still one of the best places to see a show. Restaurants ok. Not the top of the list destination for most. My top 5 are:
1. Bellagio
2. Wynn/Encore
3. Cosmopolitan
4. Circa
5. Aria/Vdara City Center
Park MGM also a great spot with all the work they have done. Smoke free as well. Entire area by arena solid.

you can go to a state that has online gambling
do other activities that you actually want to do and bet legally
what a dumb decision by you
but i guess that is why you go to wheel of fortune instead of jeopardy

Good point on the Colosseum. That's a great old-school venue. Not a bad seat in the house.
Venetian/Palazzo are also top tier imo... especially when sewer gas isn't being released just outside the casino.

Yes on Coliseum. Great place for a show and can grab dinner right there. Vanderpump’s has old desperate ass in there too.
Venetian/Palazzo have an outstanding restaurant row and are top end. I’ve just never spent much time gaming or hanging out there. Never stayed there either. Great place though!

Can't think of it's name offhand, but it's the one where a gunman went nuts shooting people on the ground from his hotel room ... Was that a good place before the incident. I think he was a video poker addict or some such game there.

I'm here for work but usually stay at Cosmo or Wynn. The thing that's surprising is how many freaking people are here. I swear the room hasn't been updated in 20 years.

Agreed. I don’t get Caesar’s plan but it’s always full. They have a great location on the strip. They should scrape the front fountains and update the entire thing.
