    Why do books hire oddsmakers nowadays?

    There's this guy who is so sharp that a book hired him to make odds, and they pay him big bucks. Why don't they just auto copy Pinnacle's odds? If I was a bookmaker I'd just run a bot to copy Pinnacle.

    Because they have their own customers and have to reduce risk.
