So Results for NCAAF and NFL... this weekend...
For some reason, the Army game didn't update but it got fixed and it was a no bet. The Clemson game had to go into 2 OT to break the O/U so I am taking that as a win. The computer was clearly right just unlucky. The Houston game was a push. Total results finished 25 out of 52 or 48.08%. I know that this means it was a losing weekend.
However, 2 out of 4 ML won so assuming +200 on both of those bets, it is more likely 27 out of 52 which is 51.9%. The Marshall ML should have covered also... but lost by a point. Yes, Vegas breakeven was 52.38% but did you see how brutal this college weekend was and how many top tier teams either lost or didn't cover. Bowling Green vs. Minn a 30 point underdog. Oklahoma WVU. Iowa State. Clemson. Texas A&M. A complete bloodshed. Hitting 51.9% of the picks I am chalking up to a win this weekend. Yes, it isn't going to make you any money, but I think on weeks like these, just not losing your bankroll is good enough.
NFL is 6-5 with the under tonight which might lose. So my guess 6-6, but that is only after two games. I really don't like to start betting until week 4.
Anyway, fire away about how my system didn't work. I understand, but under the circumstances, I think it held its own. I can post next weeks picks if you want them. Looking forward to both programs.

A Long time ago, I had a formula for predicting how many runs each team would score in a MLB game. (pencil and paper) It was an exhausting system of collecting each player in the starting lineup's stats and coming up with a first figure. Then taking each pitcher's stats and doing an add subtract. I won about 60% + of games during that year or time, but it was exhausting hard work to keep up with. And so I went to a more simple system with just each team's starting pitcher and w/l record. I did okay with that but still took time and discipline. Baseball CAN be beaten if one has the patience and discipline. It became too much like a job and I know nothing about computer programs etc. I've played with football numbers for years and have come up with nothing that works. Off to a solid start(4-1) with a +155ML bet but I know come 12EST...things change. A poster from this board filtered my projections data and actual.
He may have found a sweet spot in my predictions. Trying this weekend or at least tracking. I have bet every game my system predicted this weekend.
Even Ole Miss ML. LOL

Best week yet... 56.86% + 4 out 9 ML. NCAAF
Only 7-7 NFL but that's after just 3 weeks and includes odd Jets win.
