If I was in that situation, I'm finding a rich friend and fading the penetrate out of the Lions. Would never be comfortable letting it ride on the fkin Lions on the road vs GB LMAO.

You'd have to be in Vegas with hundreds of thousands in hand to make a dent though. Idk? Maybe an app or an offshore would take huge action, but your lender would probably balk at that

Of course you have to hedge a lot. There was a lot to be gained. You have to hedge. Take out a loan if you have to, call every book around the country, fly to Vegas if you have to. Spend the day spreading your bets to cover that ticket. It is irresponsible NOT TO HEDGE. Every financial analyst would tell you to hedge. Except for the dumb ass analyst that was a good friend to an Auburn better 7 years ago. He stood to make at least $32k (aub was favored) but his good friend, who was an analyst told him not to hedge. WTF? That guy would no longer be my friend.

Waiting until halftime is irresponsible. Sure it would have been a great move last night but who the hell knows what could have happened in that game. The Pack could have been up huge at half and you would have had to plunk down even more money to cover. Best time to hedge is days before the game starts. it takes time to cover that large of a bet. You may have to go to several books. Good luck running around Vegas with a few hundred thousand in hand. Once the game starts, you are really gambling. Hedge the bet, lean more on Detroit if you want but don't even sweat that game. You already won if you hedge properly. Other than that you are being greedy but irresponsible. We all already knew what was going to happen. 8 times out of 10 the Lions were losing that game. Why take that chance?

    Sports Handle
    https://sportshandle.com/lions-packe...m-726k-parlay/

"Unfortunately for the Michigan-based Lions bettor holding out hope for that final leg in Lambeau, cashing out was not an option: The wager was placed with a promotional free bet, for which cash-outs are not offered.

A BetMGM spokesperson told Sports Handle Tuesday morning, however, that the sportsbook is considering compensating the bettor with some sum similar to what it might have offered if it had been a cash bet.

    That’s to be continued."

I almost won a few games with them recently. Can I get some sort of money for those potential wins? So, I had Vikings ML and that kicker missed the kick at the end. Can I get a 75% win instead of 100%?

With a Lions loss always seeming like a pretty likely outcome, you couldn’t help but wonder if this bettor was able to cash out before risking such an enormous sum of money.
Thanks to BetMGM, that’s exactly what happened. BetMGM said Wednesday morning that the bettor was able to cash out for $133,000 (pre-tax, of course).
