Okay so I had deposited $1000 on Heritage and got the $1000 welcome back football bonus applied. I’m in Las Vegas right now actually and I ended losing at the Cosmopolitan, so in a rage (impulsive I know) I opened up Heritage and gambled on the online slots. I made a ridiculous amount so now my account is at 40 thousand… I emailed Heritage if casino counts towards the 10x rollover and they said only sports and race applies to it. So I still need to hit that rollover before I withdraw, and my question is will I actually get paid out that much? May be a dumb question but I’ve never done a transaction close to that anywhere let alone an offshore Sportsbook. Heritage is a great book I know but I’m just wondering anyone’s thoughts or if anyone here had a casino winning offshore and got paid fairly. And yes I’ve had gambling issues before and suddenly they arose again today but it paid off somehow, and I am well aware it’s problematic.

#8Also will I have to report this all to the IRS? I have several bank accounts…does it help to disperse the money or is there no avoiding taxes? I want to do this the right way though, any advice would be great on thatComment -

#14They pay no question. I had been playing for 10-15 minutes in the casino there for the last couple months, would win some $ then go turn the casino off again in preferences for 72 hours and the following week do it again. I was just winning small amounts but winning every week, now I have no option anymore to play for real money, just the for fun option . I have not asked them about this but I assume it’s because I was winning consistently . No biggie I’m there for sports anywayComment -

#15Treeemendous run Rondell, congratulations.
The good news about your heritage question is that you likely have a far bigger worry in your potential problematic gambling with all those funds there. Stay disciplined roll over the sports bets effectively and you’ve done yourself a service here.

#17Great Story? All, I can say is “do not bet big bucks on the Vikings”!
So, you are going to need discipline to not go back into their casino (maybe just hit Treasure Island or Mystic Lake?
That being said - it is possible to lose 40k on sports. So, good luck and get some home!Comment -

#19They are a good and solid book, you will have no problem. The rollover I would question...but even if you do have to use the rollover...be very happy to win that much money on the slots....this doesn't happen that much......glComment -

Put it on your ceiling above your bed.
Put it on your bathroom mirror.
Put one on your fridge.
Put one IN your fridge.
Put one on the inside of your front door.
Stick it in your work cubicle or whatever.
Put one by your computer monitor.
Never be in a hurry to lose. Games will happen every day, don't ever rush to get down because of some new info or feeling. Don't be in a hurry to rollover, don't force the bets, let them come to you.
Stay in contact with Heritage. Be honest with them. You opened your account in Nevada, but are now likely planning to access it in Minnesota. Let them know ahead of time, foresee these issues and head them off before they are issues. Because they can be issues.
It's easy to make a bet from your phone, don't let that convenience hurt you.
Man I could go on and on and on.
But if you take away one thing, it should be to print out that post and internalize it with out ever backsliding or showing signs of problemtatic gambling. Keep yourself in check daily, if you feel yourself slipping, step the fukk away. Period.
Or you will be in for disaster, if money management hasn't already drained you.
I wish the best of luck don't take that quip about money management lightly. It's both he cause and solution for many, many problems with gambling.

I don't know your specifics, but it's likely that will not go away overnight. There will be times of need...lol.
You, my friend, are in for a battle. Many wise posters will agree that sometimes coming up big is the worst thing for a gambler. But it's the context that matters.
You came up big in this context...
The odds overall may be against you here, it's just the reality of the situation.

Not a bad idea. You're in a good spot, nice.

#31Thank you! For sure disabling.. and I agree, MLB is the only sport I’ve been consistently able to beat so far and im just upping my wagers and spreading out a bit until regular season is over. I should atleast be close to the rollover by then.Comment -
