I lean under the total too even though it's only 33. The Hall of Fame game generally doesn't have much offense in it so I think that's the way I would go. As far as the side flip a coin in this game imo personally I wouldn't touch it because you don't know who's going to play.

i'm trying to find out how much playing time Garrett Gilbert will be getting for the Cowboys. that would be a QB tandem of Rush/Gilbert vs. Haskins/Dobbs for the Steelers assuming Mason Rudolph doesn't play at all.

in reading about this game, the Cowboys should have the advantage on the OL since their backup linemen have seen a lot more real game action than the Steelers' backups. Cowboys should also have the advantage on defense with a deeper roster on that side of the ball.

both teams have experienced backups, so if the 4-6th wr can catch, both can score at least 17's, so the over is enticing more if people pound the under.

the only thing thay worries me is how deep will the oc control the game and open the playbook for the passing

OL will be playing a lot longer than usual because they have 5 new starters. Not sure how that translates to this one though.

My guess mason will play 2-3 series, and then haskins the rest of the half. I think pitt will try to evaluate haskins more, since the uncertainty with big ben even this year (and beyond), and one or two of their backups could generate some trade interest

so both sides have some experimented qb and both backups is an open competition plus both have the chance to start this year, so in a dual competition with competent qb vs scrubs defense, the chains will be moved (forecast)

Mason Rudolph has been announced as the starting QB for Pittsburgh but Josh Dobbs will finish up after Dwayne Haskins relieves Rudolph. As far as the Cowboys they haven't confirmed a starting QB but early reports out of camp seem to indicate that Garrett Gilbert will start this game with Ben Dinucci and Cooper Rush playing most of the second half.
