6/5 blackjack everywhere now, even downtown

jacks or better video poker, can’t find a 9/6 anywhere, most are 7/5 or 8/5

odds on some bets on craps table have been reduced, especially at Caesars properties

    its beyond ridiculous now

Chances of making money there are very tough
Station Casinos and Downtown are the places to play if you want reasonable odds. The Strip is for suckers.

Casino Royale doesn't even spread table games anymore. That's depressing.

I haven't been up to Rampart in a while but they used to have 9/6 JoB, 10$ craps and 3/2 BJ no auto shuffler

        El Cortez is still solid

Was just there. Treasure island had 3/2 blackjack on all tables. $15 min and even $25 double deck options. Agreed that Ceasars craps odds all down significantly. Cromwell had 100X still posted outside but were 3x 4x 5x. Couldn’t believe all blackjack games at Nugget downtown require you to play side bet Blackjack wheel game to play BJ. Never had seen that before. In 2 hours there were 9 blackjacks, 6 were dealer.

It's the package. Assuming they produce 50 barrel lots pre packaging, then to package 50 barrels of soda in 2 liter bottles cost $X, to package 50 barrels of soda in 16 or 20 ox bottles costs $20x's as much.

The price of refined petroleum by products has gone up because of the Administration limiting the pipeline and the drilling leases. This impacts consumer goods across the marketplace because everything is packaged in plastic and shipped by train or truck (deisel).

Add in inflationary concerns and dollar concerns for multi nationals and you can see how bad Bidens America will be in about 12-18 months.

Vegas has to rape its costumers now because really, they have about a year before we see a huge reduction in discretionary income, and by then the gambler will learn to expect the low odds and payouts...they'll be trained.

i think the biggest part of that equation is unemployment/stimulus that will have to end at some point

in the past year people were getting tons of free money with nothing to do with it

IGT playsports is the sportsbook provider.

Another oddsmaker on the strip is always good.

                              Also 30 table poker room

They are already adding more to the property and Wynn is building Encore West right next door. Within the next 10 years the Stratosphere and Circus Circus will be demo'd adding more mega properties.

I miss it also. I learned to play poker there back in 2003. I'd bartend until about 1am at the old Westward Ho and then walk over to stardust and play 3-6 limit poker until 6-7 in the morning.

The mega properties are neat- but nothing like the smaller casinos. I choose the smaller casinos over the big ones any day.

I don't think inflation has a lot to do with it

There has been a one way trend on the strip against the player for over a decade

Triple zero roulette, 3x4x5x craps, dealer hits a soft 17, double on 10 or 11 only, crapless craps (has about 4 times the house edge), 6:5 blackjacks.

Vegas Strip casino floors used to be like a good buffet, now they make me want to puke.

I really only care about the room and it's proximity to gaming that is in my budget. I definitely like to gamble at the smaller casinos but there's also a convenience factor there. I was at RW for a work event, I wouldn't probably stay there on my own.
