Not in Portland. Line was -5 last game.

If this series was a pure coin flip, line wouldn't be only -1.5 in Denver.

Portland is going to have to blow this thing up after this season. Just not enough consistent defense to do any damage in the playoffs. Portland should be a great regular season team with Dame and CJ alone, but they are always just barely getting in the playoffs as a lower seed. That is NOT what championship teams do.

Well CJ missed half the year. Nurkic missed half the year.

Covington has not been what they expected. They traded 2 first round picks for him. 2 first rounders...

Powell was a good acquisition.

Melo has been a revelation.

This is a team with a ton of weapons who haven't really performed at peak level except for Dame Dollar, and Melo in his role, who's been outstanding.

A lot of teams often get hot in the playoffs and go on deep runs, and if anyone out of the west can get scorching hot like no other, it's the Blazers.

We'll see. Fair points though. If it doesn't work this year, maybe you think about moving CJ and bringing in more of a 2 way guard like a Paul george jimmy butler type.

I always said this, if you give Dame Dollar one 2 way superstar to play with, he will win a championship.

He's the most underrated player of the last decade.

Should have blown it up when they couldn’t win a game against the warriors in the western conference finals against a depleted Steph and the gang. If you can’t win there, you are not going to get it done. Getting swept required bad coaching and bad play. They have only gotten worse since then.

Portland's third best player in that series was Myers Leonard. They had no Nurkic, no Melo, no Covington, no Powell. All GS did was double team Lillard on every play and it was game over. It's a miracle that Portland team even made it that far.

Even more reason to blow it up after that. If a simple double team ruins your teams chance to win playing 4 on 3 it needs to be blown up. The advantage should be with the Blazers playing 4 on 3, if its not your team is not close to being good enough.

this is over Portland jump shooting team not gonna get a lot of easy baskets or inside paint buckets nuggs even without Murray has too many players who can dribble drive and score and shoot contested jumpers pretty well

I'm not happy with this performance so far though. Portland acting like they're too cool for school. Hopefully someone steps up and speaks at halftime and says enough is enough.
