To be fair I didn't read the article but the headline stated: 49'ers like 5 QBs as fit with No. 3 overall pick.

Simply stupid, as obviously it's a ploy to make other teams out of the loop on who they are going to pick. If they think there are 5 OBs, then why in the hell did they trade up. Reminds me of 2005 when Niners said that Smith and Rodgers were considered the same quality. If they felt that way, they should have traded down and got picks and Rodgers. Have a bad feeling that Niners are going to mess it up again.

They messed it up already by trading so much to get to #3 pick before the draft even started.

Not for much longer. Either its this week, or sometime before training camp, and he will be gone

They could trade this and move back too...dumb as that sounds.

I think it was a gamble because NYJ hadn't moved Darnold at the time, they wanted Wilson.

Jimmy G still wins 70% of his starts, and that team is sub .500 without him in that time.

SF a legit contender in a very tough division.
