Shit happens all the time in NCAABB.

Results regularly come in close to the #. Garbage 3s at the gun that swing the ATS result.

U get used to the standard end-game. So often, the Fav shoots FTs. Then, the trailing team gets a Wide-Open 3...and it's in the hands of the Gods of Gambling.

Heh, I think it was Crosby that put that empty netter in. Probably only reason it made it. I had an NHL game where I lost ML with .02 left. They reviewed the mf for like 5 mins it was so close. Avs vs. somebody last season, lol. I also saw a game last season where an empty netter went in with 1 second left and they didn't count it or review it. I was like wtf. I think it was Philly but can't remember. I didn't bet that one just watching. I couldn't believe they didn't even review it though. Lol. Everybody was like fukk it except anybody that bet the puckline that game.

Receiving team tries to run the Stanford Band play. Invariably fails, but the backward laterals start. They move backward and become vulnerable to Safety or Kicking Team TD.

I think the shit evens out over time. I lost a hockey game with under 1 second left and lost baseball games on walk-offs but I've also won an NFL game on a hail Mary and cashed a MLB ML and total on a walk-off grandslam before so IMO don't overreact to last second wins or bad beats cause they kinda even out over time. But bad beats still sting more it seems. It's all psychological. It's like losing on natural 8 in baccarat or losing with pocket A's in poker it just makes people lose their mind and go on tilt.

I rewound and watched in slow-mo several times. I thought time ran out before it crossed the line but it was very close.

I can't remember the game, but someone on sbr posted a highlight a while back on some crazy nba end of half bad beat. Team A was leading Team B in the first half by 2 after Team B had just scored with a couple seconds left in the 1st half. Team A has to inbound the ball, and decides to hurl it down the court since there's hardly any time. Ball gets intercepted by team B, and they lob a shot up from behind half court, it goes in. Team B leads at half. Poster had Team A ML.

2004 clippers bulls. Broke and homeless living out of a cheap motel at 21. Was stuck 1200 with bookie which I didn't have. Put 1800 on clips -3 to max my 3k limit out.

16 seconds left clips up 7 and Deng hits a 3. Bulls foul now down 4 and Corey Maggette goes to the line and makes 1st but misses 2nd with 6 seconds left.. Clips up 5.

Curry somehow gets a dunk with 3 seconds left to cut it to 3...fukk!! How the fk you let them get a deuce in that short of time? Ok well at least I'll push or hopefully bulls foul. Foul! 1.8 seconds left!

I will never ever forget the next moment. I was on the phone with my buddy throughout the whole final 5 minutes of the game and was celebrating getting unstuck from my bookie.

Bulls inbound with 1 second left down 4 and Kirk Heinrich throws up a meaningless half court shot. Swish. Final score 97-96, clips win by 1. I dropped the phone and collapsed on the shitty ass motel bed wondering how this could happen to me.

To this day every time I suffer a bad beat in sports/casino/poker my buddy says "you just got Heinriched"
