Please tell me about Vegas places to stay/comps

Since with my new job I can work anywhere in the country, my position is this. Vegas is a possibility down the line a little here. Know nothing about it except that's it's probably the only place a guy like me can make money at poker, since being a setminer and all I need to be able to change where I'm playing. I have a few thousand dollars. I make about $700/week now. It was $60k, but that's ok music is what's important here. No car.

Both for my job and music it's very important that I people around me very little or not at all and it's very important that I can jam out as loud as possible 24/7.

Where would you stay, what would you do?

Stevie go back on unemployment. You’ll make close to $1000 a week until the end of August. We literally can get no one to come back to work at the golf course because of this.

Favourite places for poker

Planet hollywood for the drunks
Aria for omaha
Venetian for game selection - lots of tables usually running pre covid
Golden Nugget for downtown drunks
Treasure Island use to have $3/hr comps

I’m sure you could stay a bit off strip at those travelodges or rent a room out for $500/mo. Living/eating/drinking in Vegas is dirt cheap.

You know, downtown Plaza isn't a bad spot....hear me out.

I stayed 10 days. It's close to the fun in the arts district, the Freemont area, there's food + bars + music everywhere.

They give u comps on your card etc, but at the book, at $250/ game bettor w a few shots at $1k I literally never paid for a drink in w weeks AND they gave me a $100 comp to Oscar's so idk I think DT is a fun area now and more efficient than strip.

I checked out and they gave me a casino room rate of $11 per night...

Basically I put $15,000 in play over 10 days, grinded out a $1100 profit, and stayed for under $150 ttl

The Plaza has become a downtown destination

I've tried to say The Plaza a couple of times and been mocked as a broke dick idiot.

If you have a car, and I always get a rental, valets will look after you with a semi permanent spot on the front forecourt right at the end of Freemont.

The staff have been the nicest of any hotel I've been in in Vegas stays. Walk across to the 4 Queens or Nugget and you immediately notice the staff attitude difference. People who work at Plaza must like their jobs more.

And it's so ridiculously cheap, like under 50 bucks a night all up cheap at times, even before their generous comps.

Going by myself, without a woman, I'd probably prefer to be there than Bellagio or Caesars where you are almost "trapped" inside one massive resort designed to discourage you from seeing anything else.
