The Heat were without Dragic and Adebayo for large portions of the series and Butler was absolutely gassed... Not saying they would have beaten the Lakers with them, but they were certainly handicapped without 'em. Now it's the Lakers who are missing key players in A.D. and Schroeder so Miami has a chance to exact a modicum of revenge.

Miami is still without Dragic and they've lost some toughness when Crowder left for Phoenix, but Adebayo should feast in the paint and open things up for Heat shooters. Plus Lebron doesn't put the pedal to the metal from the opening tip anymore, so guys like Kuzma and KCP are gonna have to step up big to pull away.

They don’t care about regular season anyway. Seeding doesn’t matter to them. They will coast and win games when lebron gets annoyed and decides he wants to make a point and then once AD gets healthy for the playoffs.....they will be in West finals.

Easy fade. Kuz ball'd out but the Heat needed this one and controlled the game throughout, despite the close final score.

Lakers host the Wizards on Monday and even that's no gimme because Russ and Bradley will give the Lakers backcourt fits with little rim protection. Lebron sure as hell doesn't wanna chase those guys around for 40 minutes. Lakers will probably play hard though because they'll have the Jazz on deck and don't wanna be staring down the barrel of a four-game losing streak.

Lakers were missing pretty much all their pgs last game. had like 7 people out. They would suffer more if lebron was out.

They were missing Schroder in the backcourt last game, same as tonight. Not sure how you got to 7.

I lean that way but I don't know if I'll pull the trigger. Wizards are abysmal on defense and the Lakers know this is a soft spot on the schedule where they need to right the ship with the Jazz, Blazers, Warriors, and Suns all on deck.

Not 7 pgs. Players. They are all banged up. I wouldn't bet on the lakers right now with borrowed money but for multiple reasons, not just Anthony Davis absence.

They weren't missing 7 players, they were missing 2. They have the same guys available tonight as last game.

Lebron missed a FT at the end of regulation which would've given the Lakers a 1 pt lead with 9 secs to go. he looked really nervous and took a lot of time to take it

then he plays the entire OT only to lose. Lakers better be careful with him, i know he wants to carry the team with AD out but they should force him to rest a couple games here and there

The problem with that is they're already struggling to get wins with A.D. on the bench, you put Lebron in street clothes alongside him and this team is practically forfeiting. Their only saving grace is that they have a reasonable cushion in the W/L column but that could evaporate quickly at this rate.

I actually sold a full point & got the Wiz +6.5 +105. I been doing this lately & it’s been working. I don’t handicap a game to win by one point on the spread anyways & I love to avoid the juice.

i agree they better not burn him out. as long as they do enough to get a playoff spot. lebron does not need home court.
