Free Booze is a thing of the past unless you know someone. With on line wagering coming to a state near you, the casino's took a hit. They were finished off by Covid 19. My guess is that the cost of housing in Southern Nevada will come crashing down now. If anyone was ever interested in moving to Nevada, now is the time to take a look and see what is available. Vegas will never be the Sinatra Rat Pack, Elvis, Gorgeous ladies, glitz and glamor that it was years ago. Those days are long gone. A few of us have been around long enough to remember those days. As my wife says: "Do not be mad that they are gone. Be thankful that we had the opportunity to enjoy it when they were here."
housing prices haven't even crept down a bit... you're right but the vegas housing market also has some things going for it, lot of retirees and people getting the f out of california

9 months of almost no business travel and tourism, unprecedented damage to these places, yet the tourist locations like vegas, phoenix, miami beach, etc still have really high housing prices (for now), weird stuff to be sure

        Predicted this

I was in the MIRAGE at 11am this past Monday.................there were THREE, yes THREE, customers in the ENTIRE casino.

A black couple walking around, and ONE guy playing a slot machine................NOBODY else ANYWHERE in the casino.

Walked over to Treasure Island and there was actually at least 40 people in there......and by the way, the new Treasure Island sportsbook is really nice.

Go to around 20 casinos on a weekly basis....................the two busiest on a consistent basis are ELLIS ISLAND and SOUTH POINT

Same in Florida. Housing just sky high. Everyday 800 New Yorkers relocate here permanent. Crazy shift in wealth & living. Hoping they leave their politics behind. Looks like Californication has come to AZ/NV already. That Govenor will push for income tax now for sure.

Californians and New Yorkers causing a housing bubble. Now I have heard everything. How about monetary policy and interest rates that our parents could only dream of?
