The media likes to promote the image of golden state as geniuses and they never criticize them since they like their liberal talking points.
The Russell for Wiggins trade is as dumb as it gets for the Warriors. Wiggins can’t play well off the ball which is what he has to since he plays with curry because he’s not a good 3 point shooter. Russel is the far better player and he’s a strong 3 point shooter.
Espn and other media stations don’t want to point out that going back to last year this trade was horrible and made no sense. With Thompson out this trade is even worse. Russell could have played off the ball and run the offense with Curry on the bench, the Warriors have no second point guard after Curry and Wiggins isn’t good off the ball because he’s a bad 3 point shooter.
