Does anybody know the chance of the total landing on exactly the predicted total? Let say, for NFL

Yes, but that depends on the Total.
lol.
But if you want to lump them all in, you would likely not believe just how few times there has been a push on the Total in the NFL. Over the last 5000 or so NFL games, only 1.6% of them have pushed.
But many of those games couldn't possibly push because of the 1/2 point line. So let's take those out.
When we do, it happens about 3% of the time.
This isn't the same as asking what percent of the time an NFL game lands on a certain Total number but I will say that 41, 43, and 44 are the most commonly pushed Totals in the bunch.
Considering those three scores are in the top five most common or frequent scores in the NFL it makes sense.
