What's bigger in Iowa, Fish? High school hoops or high school wrestling? Pretty strong traditions in both

Iowa plays little dee if any.An athletic team (with a pair of decent guards)will take them out.If you have some type of athletic wing players they would be in trouble as well.They are a nice /fun team but not going too far.A team like Tennesee/west Virginia/Texas Tech would take them out easily.

In the 70's it was GIRLS BASKETBALL and WRESTLING....................

.......................now it's HS football and wrestling.

All HS sports in Iowa huge, tremendous state for HS sports given the media coverage given statewide.

The emergence and improvement shown off the bench of players like Nunge, Patrick McCaffarty, and Toussaint is and has been a tremendous bright spot for Iowa.........Iowa a real, real solid 8 player team, and freshman Murray even has shown he's going to be a real talent with experiecnce.

Iowa a definite top ten team, but overall lack of a dominating defense will probably derail them from winning the Big Ten title and/or reaching the final eight come tourney time....................
