I can remember 4 wagers in which a team was simply running the clock out.... and I was covering... and they broke a very long TD score. It's the most disheartening feeling ever in wagering. Finally, one went my way... in which a team broke one open... and simply went out of bounds. My heart was in my throat. I was saying... oh fukk no. oh fukk no. lol No!!! No!!!! And he walked out on the 1. lol unfukking believable. Give me a rum and coke after that one. lol

But that's what happens when players get flamed in the media for waltzing into the endzone in these scenarios when they could've went down and ran the clock out. Other players fear they'll get tarred and feathered for making the same mistake as that Penn State player did against Indiana, or Gurley against the Lions the same week. They don't have time to analyze all the data and the likelihood of winning if this or that, so I guess they'll just puss out now and take the dive. Blame social media.

Yeah. The 2nd half total was 20 1/2. I was thinking about taking the under with the score being 3-0 but passed just because of all the horse sh!t I've seen in cases like this.

Both teams had scored 7 points in the 2nd half up to this point. A TD by Chubb and an extra point would have put it over.

Agree. I had no action on the game but there is no reason for him to run out and not score.
