their backup QB played pretty well today, it was their running game that struggled some. BC put up 28 pts, but 7 came on defense on that long fumble return. BC only actually gained 275 yds on offense, just seemed like a lot more

of course Notre Dame's defense is a lot better than any defense Clemson has faced thus far so this could be tight throughout

Currently the line is between 5 1/2 (Vegas) and 6 (offshore). Clemson will be skating on thin ice if they lose this game. They still have games at Florida State and at Va. Tech left. Now they should easily win those games, but you know how crazy those games can get. If they lose to the Irish, they must run the table including another game vs Notre Dame to get into the playoffs. They also will be stuck traveling cross country to Pasadena to possibly play Ohio State. Clemson has a lot riding on this game, especially since Alabama should be home free and go 11-0 and get their first playoff game in the Sugar Bowl. A Clemson win gives them a great shot at going undefeated and playing in the Sugar Bowl. A loss and Alabama wins the NC.
