          Rays would have won 1-0

That was the cy young Snell pitching last night

          Hadn't even walked a batter

Was mowing LA down they had no chance

rays better fix that hitting next season, way too many strike outs, remember when guys used to choke up on the bat with 2 strikes, and strike outs used to be embarrassing, it's like nobody cares anymore swing for the fences

He had only thrown 73 pitches. That's where analytics should have gone out the window

I couldn't believe they pulled him. I was with a bunch of dodger fans and they all started cheering like they had won the game already.

True, and quite a valuable collectible there.

Cash probably made a mistake but I cannot criticize a manager
who took a team with the 28th lowest MLB payroll to the World Series.

They screwed it. I’m sure they have the numbers to support the move but that doesn’t take into account the fact you bring in a reliever thar gave up runs the last 6 times he pitched. Also, analytics don’t take into account the hot hand. He is their only pitcher that was having success against the dodgers. He is a cy young winner. I think the worst thing is they didn’t allow for greatness. Let’s say he pitched 8 shutout innings and you win 1-0. How much that would have lifted the team.

He got them there by managing by what the computer told him to do but that one situation where listening to gut instinct should trump doing what the analytics say because Snell was dealing and he wasn't even close to being fatigued. He should have been trusted to get out of the sixth inning for the first time all year with the way he was pitching.

The object in BB now is to bring in as many pitchers that you can until you find one that can blow the game for you. Pathetic................................ .

Can you see a manager going to the mound in the 6th with a 1-0 lead and pulling Bob Gibson. The manager would be carried off the field in a stretcher.

All the analytics posted in this video supported keeping Snell in. Also, the last few minutes of commentary is comedy gold, Jomboy being Jomboy.

It's an elimination game, World Series, you live or die with Snell out there. That was complete bullshit.
