Kirby can lose to Bama as long as the talent is equal. When Georgia gets more talent than everyone else they could still have less than Bama. It better be obvious that Georgia has more talent before firing kirby, because he’s beating everybody else easily

I know LSU was good, but they were not even competitive

He has talent out the arse

He is so bad that he picked Fromm over Fields

He's a typical college coach who feasts on lesser talented opponents and then gets out coached when it is championship time

His W/L record will secure his job

Its called consistency. Kirby would beat LSU if they played. He’s a better coach than Coach O everyday of the week.

His talent level is in the top 3 every year

If Georgia is happy with a top talent team and never winning the big game, then they can keep him because he beats less talented teams all the time

Smart has far more talent every year than LSU

Top 3 recruiting class every year

Coach O got to LSU when they were nothing and has a National Championship in a short time period with less talented recruiting classes

He won the big games when he got there

He destroyed Smart last year

So because you think Smart would beat them this year, with far more talent, that makes him a better coach????

It's okay though since none of their rivals or teams in neighboring states have done anything since then.

Georgia Tech's only won one national title since 1980. Same with Auburn and Tennessee. Clemson and Florida have only won three each. Florida State also has just three national titles since 1980, Miami only has five, and Alabama has a mere six. No big deal at all.

When you are a program that gets the talent that Georgia does EVERY year, then they can only be considered epic losers

Even when they had Bama beat in the 2nd half TWICE, they found a way to gag it away like the losers they are

If Smart was a real football coach, he would have seen Justin Fields, his Oline, RB and WR talent, and implemented an RPO offense like every other decent coach would have

With their defensive talent, they probably have at least 2 championships by now averaging over 30 pts a game

Pretty obvious move by a remotely intelligent coach

Instead he chooses a pro style offense with an over recruited horrific QB and the rest is history

It's comical how incompetent he is
Even with that terrible move, he still could have won if he could make adjustments during big games

Sorry, I just cant get over how certain teams and programs fan bases will make up any excuse to defend themselves or a coach

Its mind boggling

Winning alot of games is not hard to do in college football with the talent discrepancy from top to bottom

The few big games they play, and championships, should be the barometer for all programs and coaches at the top talent schools

What Smart did with Fields, Fromm and their offensive scheme could possibly be the worst coaching decision in football history, ESPECIALLY when that is the the winning formula in the game today

Saban, Dabo, Meyer and Coach O all adapted to it because their talent dictated it and it's how you win championships

Georgia had that talent level and didn't adapt to it

I will take a sedative now and relax
