Why do I get the sense this will be decided by a penalty? The Jets keep getting stupid penalties and so do the Broncos so the refs are going to decide this one. This is why I bet the total although I don't feel good about the Under seeing all these damn flags on seemingly every play.

Darnold just throws to whatever the play calls for. Constantly throws to receivers that are blanketed and not even close to open. Flacco should play but he has no mobility behind that line. They are paying the coin to Darnold. He won't get benched unless he's hurt.

To be fair I thought he was hurt badly on that sack. It just looked worse than it was. Still he looks fine now so maybe they blew it out of proportion like only Aikman and Buck can do.

He's a bust. I'm convinced after watching the game tonite. He's had plenty of time to figure it out. Holds onto the ball. It's 4th down. Just throw it up for grabs at the very worse. Nope. Holds on and takes a sack. I don't think he can play at this level. Not even as a backup QB. I used to think Gase was a decent coach in Miami, but he's not with it either anymore IMHO. Absolutely should have went for it on that 4th and a half yard. Kicks field goal.

You can just tell that Darnold can't play at this level. Rypien at least throws the ball away. Lets it rip. Doesn't take sacks like Darnold and that dude is an undrafted free agent. I would rather have him than Darnold.

I think there's a lot of backups that would be a serious upgrade over D'Arnold at this point. I don't think he can read NFL defenses fast enough to be a good Quarterback at this level. I'm not convinced that the Jets really want to win because if they did I feel like they would have let Flacco finish the game after D'Arnold left briefly in the first half. They don't want to win though because I think they want Trevor Lawrence in the worst way.
