It’s all contingent on if convention business returns. Vegas can only survive with that. It’s not the drive up bullshit or the California scumbags who come here and get a $20 room at Luxor and load 5 people in it. Noticing more and more people pulling their wagons or food into their room so they save a buck.

Guys like JJ who spend $20 when they get here and woof down free drinks and $1 McDoubles are not what makes Vegas work. JJ passes out by 10pm bloated with his EBT card and bank account overdrawn. JJ sitting there playing penny slots next to a tranny will not make this city go.

It’s guys that spend cash on great dinners, whores, shows, gambling, etc... it’s going to be tough to get all that back. Places are wiped out.

I agree on the California spill ruined Las Vegas. Also will ruin AZ. Sportsbook such a small part to the total business of Vegas but certainly major weekends around sports viewing consumption perform. I’ll tell you JJ, good buddy old pal- Conventions are fukked. Alone, this year as an organization we have saved over $200k on unnecessary travel and conventions for staff and we aren’t interested in going back to that old model.

The sad state of affairs is for years all the riff raff across America spilled to the coasts and the SE (Florida)... well, now the scum ruined those places and is spilling back to the safe havens and the heartland. You even have Kanye and the Kartrashians polluting beautiful places.

Vegas was always a shit hole

I've averaged one Vegas trip a year. As a consumer the only appeal for me is if I need the need to place a four figure sports bet. Plenty of Indian casino's in Southern California if I get that itch. {Very unlikely for the immediate future}. T.J. may be open in a week's time if I just want to play small and get out for a day. If California gets legal sports betting I may never return.
No shows , no buffets , no conventions within an overdeveloped area. Vegas has its work cut out to return to square one.
