In case you have not heard housing market already screwed has been for a while only exception to this would be where housing is a shortage as in (less places to live then people looking for housing) but who in gods name want to live in shit cities like that, can show you gated communities but 3 blocks away is slums and crime.
Not to mention only 25% of all people employed make 70k or more. Companies dont pay a living wage unemployment is way way higher then what data says. People do not understand debt or money at all all they do is spend and most cannot buy groceries. The stock market is investment and no indicator of economy health these days.

California set to implement a WEALTH tax now...
That's all you need to know about the direction of liberal politics.
There are no longer moderate Democrats.... it's a party that requires conficating the wealth and property and ingenuity of others (conservatives) to survive.
Afterall, true believers would simply give their money to Democrats wouldn't they? Why wait for new laws that take it involuntarily??
No country can survive if 51% of people vote themselves profit from the public treasury that's funded by the other 49%.
We're getting there....if we're not there already, and social policy differences aside, a vote for Democrats going forward is a vote for communism. That's where the party is on financial issues. Straight up socialized monetary redistribution via government.

Just got a contract on one of my properties for 515k right outside sacramento still a nice suburb. Crazy thing is the realtor take is more than the taxes. I always put in contract 10k earnest money and close in 17 days, If they cannot afford a 30% down payment and get financed quick at least its not off market long and still some compensation.

Republicans in control yet economy forecast looks like shit. McConnell takes too many vacations instead of locking down a stimulus bill. But ok JJ
