Feedback Needed Regarding SBR....

Folks don't have or save betpoints for renewal anymore. They are buying stuff from the SBR STore like bitcoins and other stuff instead of renewing until its time for the BTP/Pick 6 contest? It will change once the contests season heats up.

i would rather pay the hundred and save the points. i started out at rx i think in 2005? But since a buddy gave me this site...it is hands down the best.

They don't make their $ on pro memberships

It's on referral sign ups, a piece of affliate book losses when the player signs up through an SBR link, and advertising.

Less sports to gamble on for months so their affliate loss $ stream for sure took a big hit. Thus less $ for poker

It'll get back to normal in 2021/2022

They should get rid of the "pros" who falsify their totals in gambling threads and then whine about other people on the site

SBR was struggling well before CoronaVirus which I mentioned a few times. Not even referring to financially. Referring to membership.

Posting on forums was something people did 10-20 years ago. No one under 30 is joining a forum, it will just slowly fade away.

You are gauging that on perception of regular players talk posters that used to be pro, not renewing

You have no concrete numbers

Players talk regular pros pro make up less than 2% of actual pro memberships here at SBR. The vast majority of peos don't post , another large % don't post in PT.

If you are saying the forum isn't the way you like it, and has declined from your perception and opinion of it's peak.

You are in good company. I've seen dozens of those threads, every year for the past 12 years.

The younger generation is not into posting on platforms like this anymore. We all a dying breed. Sbr still the best place to be though for forums like this

I think the pandemic is a huge factor in EVERYTHING slowing down, but of course even more so for anything related to sports

The virus had terrible timing

Sports Betting being legalized across the nation, popularity of the hobby growing, which leads more ppl to find sites like this, but then BAM, Corona strikes

Been a member of 4 or 5 forums over the years and doubt those others still exist. So SBR is doing something right that people do still post here quite regularly all things considered. Always look for ways to improve though.

If you don’t play contests and just spend 10 minutes a day here glancing through players talk being a pro doesn’t mean much. I also agree with the poster who said message boards are a thing of the past.

I cant even use my bet points to buy sportsbook cash in store cause the sportsbook dont allow UK members, so the points become useless to me really.

I rephrased a couple of times. I know several long time members who won't come on anymore and haven't LONG BEFORE COVID-19

I am not one of those. But what can we do to get new members to sing up and the old timers back to make SBR GREAT AGAIN.

Like I said before, 3 maybe 4 times, I am not referring to CoronaVirus. It has been an issue long before then. Maybe it was Drew????

I renew my Pro membership for the Trivia. It's the most plus/even value of the membership. The contests are great too. If I was out instead of here every night would have been spending $100 a night on drinks and food.
