5 overtimes is unrealistic on many levels. Time to change rules and have shootout. The players played 2.5 games instead of 1 in one evening. 8 periods...way too much.

NO, this is the PLAYOFFS, keep playing until somebody wins. Too much luck involved in shootouts, keep those in regular season.
If you don't want to play 5 OTs, score a damn goal!
