    Embid down with ankle injury.

Embid sprained his ankle in the first quarter and is out for the game.

If this is serious Sixers are doomed without their two young studs Simmons and Embid.
Shake and Bake is an off the bench guard and can't really be depended on in the playoffs filling in for Big Ben.
Horford and Tobias Harris are going to log major minutes from here on out and do all the heavy lifting if this Embid injury is serious.

Shame, I don't hate on the Sixers I was curious though to see if a healthy Philly squad could have competed with Toronto and the Bucks in the playoffs.

    That's not going to happen.

    LMAO

    Nothing happened to him

Bro that organization babies the shit out of him just like NO does with ZION

Pretty soon Embiid's prime is going to be over and Sixers are gonna wish they played him 40 min a night

If Tom Thibs was coaching he would run those guys into the ground and make them cry at practice

He wanted out of this as soon as Simmons went down. They never had a chance as a team without solid 3 point shooters anyway but even worse when Simmons went out

3 point shooting is overrated. Rockets have never won anything. Warriors are different because they had the 3 best 3 point shooters in history pretty much, add Miller and Allen in there.

No one can duplicate that, everyone wants to.

    Jumpers don't win championships.

Good point and GS had good defense too that never really got noticed by the casual fan because of all the three point "Splash Brother" hype, but that GS squad with Draymond Green was a solid defensive team.

I'm on the Clipper train to win it all in this upcoming playoffs.
I think George, Leonard and Zubac are just as potent as AD, James, and whoever you want to name as the Lakers #3 man.

That's why I like the Clips in the playoffs, they have a deeper squad when you get past the first two stars.
Who is the Lakers #3 guy anyway? Kuzma? KCP? And the Laker bench is as deep as a puddle.
I still say when Avery Bradley went down so did the heart of the Laker defense.
Bradley is a great perimeter defender, without him a good three point shooting team can have a field day on LA.

    Look at the Clip bench.
Nobody talks about the season Lou Williams is having he's averaging almost 20 a game off the bench.
And Harrell too, I heard he has some personal issues now going on, I have no idea what that's all about.

Can't sleep on Denver either, not saying the Nugs will win it, but they can surprise you.
Michael Porter has become a double/double machine, where did this come from?
And I always liked Jokic in the middle, he's as good a center as there is in the NBA.
And I got no problem with Murray running the point, I like Harris too.
Milsap add that intangible veteran experience to the team.
    Don't sleep on Denver.

I was watching OKC the other night.
CP3 was running the floor like he 20 years old running the point for wake Forest again.
Too bad their core players are dinged up.

    Dallas?
We know all about Luka and Porzingis.

    Utah?
I'm a Brooklyn fan because I was born and raised in NJ before I moved here in Celtic/Patriot land when Brooklyn was NJ but I've adopted Utah as my other favorite team.
I want them to win but they won't win because they never win but they have enough basketball talent to win.
They are easy to like too, even when Gobert is doing dopey things off the court.
Gobert is a terrific center, I love Donovan Mitchell, Conley has been scoring 20 plus all month running the point, I'd love him more if he cut down some on the turnovers. When Utah got Clarkson their bench got real deep.
I like the role Ingles is in too. What I don't like is they have nothing in the way of power forward, that's their albatross.

    Houston?
    I don't like James Harden because I just don't.
    Doesn't mean he's a bona fide stud, I just don't like him.
    Westbrook too.
That's their team, the other three players on the court whoever they are just stand there and watch the aforementioned two. (or so it seems)

    East is easy to handicap.
It goes like this, you got your Bucks, you got your defending champs Raptors.
The Heat can surprise and the Celtics I don't trust.
Pacers? I don't know, they are so up and down.

My money is on the Clips and if I find a ten dollar bill while cleaning the house I might toss that on Denver at 32 to 1 just for shits and giggles.

He checked out before then. He can't handle the bubble. Lakers bettors should be concerned because their guys have the same problem, including even James.

I'm assuming the injury was before that play in the tweet above because I couldn't see an even slightly awkard position for his ankle and he even jogs it off a bit.

Could be a nagging ankle injury, the worst kind.

Curry was out for a long time with the ankle.

Now it's a wrist injury, x-rays taken at half time were negative.

Here's a look at the ankle injury...
