2020 Pick 6 NFL & NCAAF Contest - $50,000 in Prizes | Registration is Open!

Pick 6 Contest Registration is Open!

Win your share of $50,000 in cash prizes!

***Contest starts NFL Week 1 and Standings will be based on WINS***

Weekly Prizes: $1,600 to at least the Top 10 Places for 17 weeks, ALL SBR PROS that go 6-0 are guaranteed BTC share. 10,000 Free Play points divided among all users with at least 5 wins that did not win either BTC or free SBR Pro Membership.

Overall Prize-Pool: $20,000 distributed to the Top 25 SBR PROS ONLY at season-end.

Pick 6 Bonus: If any 2 unit play covers ATS AND the covering team has a at least one Pick 6 in the game you WIN A 600 point free play! Free plays are used in the SBR Sportsbook where you can harness your betting skills and win. 2 unit Totals are not eligible for Pick-6 bonus.

How to Join the Pick 6 Contest?

On the Contest Enrollment Page just enter your SBR username in the "Account ID" box under Book Account and click Enter. If you do not already have an SBR username, create one here.

How to Play the Pick 6 Contest?

The object of the game is to select 6 NFL or NCAAF games against the spread (sides/totals).
    • [*=left]Even though Standings will now be based on TOTAL WINS ONLY with the first tiebreaker being Action Points, you still must make one 2-unit best bet each week, both for the second tiebreaker and also for Pick 6 Bonus purposes. All other plays will be based on one unit. If you make 6 plays without a best bet, your final play entered based on timestamp will be upgraded to 2-unit best bet. If you enter fewer than 6 plays in any week, you are eliminated from weekly prize contention but the picks DO count toward your overall record.

    • [*=left]You must make 6 plays each week to be eligible for that week's cash and free play prize. You must have made 90 total plays (equivalent of 15 weeks) to be eligible for the $20,000 in year end cash prizes. You must have made 48 total plays (equivalent of 8 weeks) to be eligible for the Halftime cash prizes.

    • [*=left]Weekly Bitcoin payouts will be made to at least the top 10 finishers based on TOTAL WINS that week. In case of a tie, first tiebreaker is Action Points, which is how many points you beat or lost to the line by. If still tied after Action Points, second tiebreaker is Units and third tiebreaker is winning percentage (i.e., 5-0-1 would beat 5-1). If still tied after all three tiebreakers, prizes will be split. Players must have positive Action Points to earn prizes.

    • [*=left]Postponed games not made up within the same week count as a push toward your pick record. In the event a game is Postponed due to weather or any other reason & less than 55 minutes have taken place, or if the game did not start at all, the pick will be changed to push. If a game is postponed within the same week (i.e, Thursday to Sunday, Thursday to Monday, Sunday to Monday), play will have Action until completed.

How will the Pick 6 Prizes be Paid?
All cash prizes will be paid in bitcoin. Prizes will be paid Tuesday of each week. To collect winnings you must PM SBR Genie your bitcoin wallet information.

    Weekly Prizes (17 weeks)

    • SBR will give away $1,600 in weekly cash prizes. These will be paid out to at least the top 10 Weekly Winners, with Standings based on TOTAL WINS. The Prize Structure is as follows:
    1st. $300

    2nd. $250

    3rd. $200

    4th. $175

    5th. $150

    6th. $125

Then if there were 10 or fewer SBR Pros that went 6-0:7th to 10th get $100 BTC each

If there were more than 10 SBR Pros that went 6-0: All SBR Pros outside of the Top 6 that went 6-0 evenly divide $400 BTC

Thus, all SBR Pros that go 6-0 are guaranteed some BTC

*Non-Pro users that finish in the Weekly Top 3 ONLY receive half of the BTC prize. Non-Pro users that finish between 4th - 6th each week receive a Free one-year SBR Pro Membership. See fine-print at bottom of the page for details on how leftover prizes will be distributed.

    • 10,000 SBR Sportsbook Free Play points each week will be evenly divided among all users with at least 5 wins that did not win either BTC or free Pro Membership. Bet Points can be redeemed in the SBR Store. In the rare event that there are less than 25 total players with 5 or more wins, we would pay Free Play points up to 25th place pro-rated based on Wins.

Thus, everyone with 5 wins is guaranteed Free Play points at worst, with SBR Pros with 5 wins still having a chance at BTC.

Halftime Prizes (Leaders After Week 9 - SBR PROS ONLY)

    1st. $600

    2nd. $500

    3rd. $400

    4th. $300

    5th. $250

    6th. $150

    7th-12th. $100

*If there are Non-Pro users in the Top 12 at halftime, prizes simply roll down to Top 12 SBR Pros.

***If any NFL team has not played at least 8 games over the originally scheduled first 9 weeks, Halftime prizes will be delayed until the week every NFL team reaches 8 games. If the NFL season is cancelled before then, there will be no Halftime prizes.***

    2nd. $3,500

    3rd. $2,500

    17th. $200

    18th. $170

    19th. $160

    20th. $150

    21-25th. $125

*Must be an SBR Pro to claim overall prizes, again, if there are Non-Pro users in the Top 25, prizes simply roll down to Top 25 SBR Pros.

***The NFL Season MUST BE COMPLETED for Overall Prizes to be paid out.***

    Fine-print
    1. All SBR PRO users will receive the full value of their weekly cash prize. Non-Pro users that finish Top 3 any week will earn half of the weekly cash prize. Non-Pro users that finish 4th to 6th any week win one-year SBR Pro Membership. You must be an SBR Pro by the end of week 12 to be eligible for the Overall prizes and you must maintain existing SBR Pro membership. You must be an SBR Pro by the end of week 8 to be eligible for the Halftime prizes and you must maintain existing SBR Pro membership. Non-Pros who upgrade to SBR Pro after week 12 will be able to claim 100% of the remaining weekly prizes, but will not be eligible for the overall prizes.

**For weekly cash prizes, if Non-Pros finish in the Top 6, undistributed winnings will go to the top SBR Pros with 5 wins based on the tiebreakers above with each winner receiving either $100 if there were less that 10 users going 6-0, or the equal amount as the last 6-0 winner if more than 10 users went 6-0 until the full $1,600 has been distributed. The last winner with 5 wins gets whatever is left over once the undisbursed amount falls below either $100 or the amount received by the last 6-0 winner. Non-Pros DO receive Full weekly Free Plays and the Pick 6 Bonus free play.

***SBR PRO cash winners outside of the top 6 caused by Non-Pros placing in the money will get the CASH ONLY and are not eligible for the weekly Free Plays. They ARE eligible for the Pick 6 Bonus Free Play however.

    2. Multiple entries per household are prohibited. SBR reserves the right to disqualify users who attempt to gain more than one entry in the contest or who otherwise attempt to cheat and violate the basic good faith of the contest.

    3. SBR employees who work inside of SBR headquarters as well as members of their family are ineligible to claim any real-money prizes.

    4. All bitcoin prizes must be claimed within 30 days of winning prize.

Thanks. hopefully not as much bickering this year. No more forced + odds plays and now getting at least 5 wins always gets rewarded.

LT will there be provisions made to change picks after a game is cancelled at the last minute? You know this will happen for sure.

                        Thanks SBR!!!

Hopefully we don't get as many brokedikks rolling into the contest all the way to the end. Last year I think there were people joining up the last couple weeks of the contest. I think we ended up with 2500 participants.

Luckily, the qualifying weeks for the contest not to be cancelled are all based on NFL (8 games for halftime, full NFL Season for overall), so at worst this would become an NFL Only contest and we could do a separate (and smaller) contest IF NCAAF plays in Spring.

Well would probably be 16 weeks with no byes, so dates will change but would not literally be extra weeks. No matter what, contest would last entire NFL season and it must be completed for year-end payouts.

LT you really listened to our concerns about last season’s contest and made adjustments. What did you guys collectively learn about from our input about last season. That ended up being a long winded thread about spilled milk that no one could do anything about. Just a quick brief synopsis of what ultimately led to the changes for this year’s contest. Thanks.

Well we listened to everything and addressed what we felt were the biggest concerns.

We agreed that luckboxing + odds winners you may not even like just to cash was a poor way to run a contest, so we decided WINS was a good alternative in a contest with a small fixed weekly requirement of 6 games and Action Points rewards better cappers more than units that are too heavily reliant on + odds.

We also agreed that it was wrong for guys to go 6-0 or even win 5 games a few times and never collect anything, thus the new prize structure.
