With all this stuff going on today, it boils down to how one interprets things. Sort of like "Jesus Loves You." That is great in church or maybe on a bumper sticker. But, maybe not so great in a Mexican prison.

I can’t speak for Mexican prisons but you have a lot the Jesus loves you and religion in general going on in prisons in the States, and I think Hispanics tend to be ultra religious so prob plays in the Mexican prisons as well!! Whole bunch of guys finding Jesus in prison. Lol. More power to them, whatever gets ya thru the day I say!!Comment -

In 1654 Anthony Johnson was the first person in the colonies to own a slave for life legally (John Casor) and not as punishment for a felony. John Casor was a black indentured servant and up until that point Africans (and Europeans who entered into servitude) were not slaves but indentured servants who became free after their contracts were fulfilled. After John Casor, the flood gates of lifetime slavery opened.
