Let’s make a deal with Dwight... we will agree to reform when they agree to having kids out of wedlock. How about that?

Kyrie Irving is done for the season with a shoulder injury. Dwight Howard is averaging 19 minutes a night for the Lakers, his hundredth team in five years. These are guys leading the charge to shut down the NBA season. Ok, then!

Sports entertainment has become a systematic bias. The prices these humans get comes out of the pockets of fans, and the prices are outrageous. Only people who are well off can enjoy going to a game.\

Also, how is Howard going to talk about 'family' when he has 5 kids, all from different moms? guess what big guy, you can't throw money at someone and call it family time.

I have a hard time taking a basketball player seriously when they can't shoot 60% from the free throw line.

Not employed will help him in the courts with all those Alimony and child support payments he's probably behind on now..

Cut him.. He's probably out of shape and to old now anyways. Had a short flash of brilliance this year, being off this long he's a wash again...

17 and 12 for his career
    3 times DPOY winner
All NBA many years (1st teams as well)
NBA finals appearance as best player on the team
    Olympic Gold Medal
Came straight out of high school
    16+ years

Should be a shoe in. Howard was the best center in basketball for half a decade if not longer.

Lol you don't think Dwight will make the hall of fame? He was all first team NBA like 5 times. It'd be very hard to leave him off. Was there a better center in the league in the late 2000s?

Bro you can't just put in every guy. The hall needs to keep credibility. Howard is a loser. If you based it on his first years sure but once he left Orlando no. He played for 25 teams.

Basketball HOF is already a joke. Has little credibility. Guys like Jordan get that... rings matter. All you have to do is show up and play a bit above average to make the basketball hall or get a huge contract. Look up the guys in there. Bill Bradley? Tracy McGrady? Calvin Murphy? Start there.... look it up.

Howard will get in for sure. There was a time when he was really dominant but he’s mostly a side show. Hell, if you can play a little ball you might be able to get in.

I agree with you but Bball hall isn't as strict as Canton. Yao Ming got in. Tmac, who was a top 3 player for at least 6 years, got in, even though his prime career was very short.

Na, to make the hall of fame in NBA you have to be the top player at your position in the league for at least 5-7 years. Howard was that. I agree with you the bball HoF is dilluted, because they count college too, they count olympics.

Is Marc Gasol a hall of famer? To me the answer is no, not by skill. But he will get in probably because of his contributions for Spain.

IMO, the Basketball Hall of Fame is probably the easiest to get in out of all HOF's

That’s not entirely true on 5-7 years of being great. I’d agree though that Howard had such a great early career. He was an automatic double double. Bill Walton? Ralph Sampson? Chris Mullin? There are so many questionable guys in there. There is just a lot of latitude to get in. It’s a body of work in amateur/college/pro that gets you in. It’s not really the “pro hall of fame”... so you have to take that into consideration.

McGrady? That is surprising to me. I don’t know if he was ever the best player on his team. Agree on Gasol. There will be a flurry of hall of famers coming up in the next 10-15 years based on the scoring numbers today. The criteria has so much latitude. Either way- there was a time when D Howard was the top center. What the hell went wrong?
