    Alabama players positive after workouts
This isn’t looking good at the moment for college football

    later

CBS Sports reported at least five members of the Crimson Tide had tested positive, and more may have to quarantine after coming in contact with those infected during player-led voluntary workouts on campus.

The numbers will be suppressed so that football can be played. There will be teams with half their roster with it and they will play on infecting other teams who play them. Its not going to hurt anybody just spread the virus even more. No harm. No foul.

If the coaches are infected and die you will lose a lot of the elite coaches in college football which would be a disaster for the future of college football.

There will end up being more than 5.

They tested the players before workouts. Then worked out. Then got test results back the next day.

                        Good thinking

Ragardless, the South WILL play football.

Can’t wait. Just couldn’t wait to get the players back to get this news. Players may have had it before getting back. Just rush everything to get back on the field.

It could make for some huge upsets if the season goes on. Say Bama or Clemson is playing some no name school and the day before 10 starters test positive and can’t play.

It’s going to be tough for books to put out early lines not knowing what the game day situation will be. Who knows if teams will even announce which players can’t play, going to be some wild line swings if there is a season

Gee, I wonder if Clemson or Alabama would falsify medical records to win football games????

Yes. Most of the elite coaches are over 50 years old. You lose a handful of the elite coaches then who will replace them? You can't replace a Saban with a young coach. It will take years to recover.

The coaches are paid and know the risk. If there is any risk since they are playing football anyway. Good you care about the coaches more than they do themselves.

The virus isn’t going away....amazing some of you guys can’t understand this simple medical fact...there is no cure for a virus so the only way to deal with it is herd immunity. People still die yearly of the flu and many other issues. If you are scared just stay the fukk at home and don’t complain about it

I am pretty sure Alabama Nation would rather lose a season than go to Saban's funeral.
